Life brings challenge, as well as the possibility of meaningful connections with others and satisfying work. However, you may find yourself in patterns of emotions and behavior that drain you and create blocks to a deeper sense of stability and joy.
We sometimes tell ourselves stories about our life and circumstances, such as “I can’t do anything right” or “life is always difficult”. Sometimes, we reach a point where the story no long works for us. We may find ourselves stuck, frustrated, and depressed.
If you are at the point of wanting this to change, a therapist can assist you in its creation. I approach therapy as a creative and collaborative process. During our sessions we will explore the past and present as a way to increase awareness, build on strengths, heal and make positive changes.
I have been working as a counselor for over 20 years integrating Eastern and Western psychology including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Thought Field Therapy (TFT), Mindfulness Based Therapies and Somatic Transformation (body centered therapy).
